Yobi-PPG Technology

Yobi-PPG Technology is iBaby Labs’ own second-generation contactless vital-sign technology. It turns a normal camera into a medical-grade sensor that can “see” your baby’s heartbeat and breathing from up to 1 meter away — with nothing touching the skin.

How it actually works (in 4 steps)

1. The i20 camera films the baby’s face or chest in 1080p.
2. Every heartbeat makes tiny 3-millimeter blood pulses under the skin → these change skin color by a fraction that only AI can catch.
3. An on-device AI chip (Neural Processing Unit) runs the Yobi algorithm 30 times per second, removes noise (light changes, small movements, blankets), and extracts the real pulse wave.
4. From that wave it calculates accurate heart rate, breathing rate, and sleep stages — then instantly alerts you if anything goes outside safe limits.

Real accuracy

• Resting state: < 3 % error compared to hospital chest-band monitors
• Works day and night (infrared helps in total darkness)
