Hello, My wife and I have an M6 and an M7. We have now experienced two troubling security issues. In one instance the M6 started playing music when neither of us had the app open on our phones. It was as if someone else had accessed the camera. That was a few months ago.
A few days ago, my wife opened the app to the M7 and we were seeing the feed from someone else’s camera. We were able to control the camera and there was no question – we were seeing a room in someone else’s home.
We are nowhere near being technically savvy enough to hack into another person’s camera. And, we didn’t do anything special to access the camera.
How could that happen and what can be done to prevent it?
Wow, we’re so sorry to hear something weird like this happened to your monitor. However, we can assure you that iBaby utilizes the highest technology on the market as well as using military-level secured servers of Amazon AWS.
Please email our customer support at firstname.lastname@example.org a picture of your CAM ID (Located at the bottom of your iBaby monitor). They will then be able to research what happened is going on with your monitor. Thank you and have a great day.
