The iBaby monitor works with your iPod touch, iPhone or iPad so you can see and hear your baby anytime, anywhere as long as you are connected to the internet (including Wi-Fi, 3G/4G network, etc.). From your free app, you can pan, tilt and digital zoom your camera so you never miss an important moment. You can also snap photos that can be stored in your photo gallery and shared with others.

The iBaby monitor is compatible with the following devices:
iPod Touch 4th Generation, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and iPhone 5, iPad, iPad 2,The New iPad, iPad mini. All iOS devices must be iOS 4.3 or later.

An unlimited number of users can access the iBaby monitor; however, only four users can access the monitor simultaneously.

Yes. You can download the free iBaby App from the App Store.

Yes. You can use the bracket and screw set that is included in the package to mount your monitor.

No. The only time you need to connect the monitor to a router is when you first set up the monitor.

Merchandise may be returned to us within 14 days from the date merchandise was received. Item(s) must be returned in the condition received or, understandably, we will not be able to accept your return. We will credit your refund to the original credit card, with shipping and handling charges deducted from the refund amount.

Yes, all iBaby monitors come standard with night vision feature. The iBaby monitor will automatically adjust the lighting so you will be able to see your baby clearly with the infrared lighting within a 16-foot range.

Launch the “iBaby View” app and select theicon at the top left corner of the home screen. Select Settings>Indicator Lights>Night LED. You may adjust the settings as you see fit.

We recommend our users to keep this alert enabled to avoid any unintentional disruption of service. However, if you do choose to disable this alert, you may do so under the settings menu. Selecticon at the top left corner of the home screen. Select Settings>Alert Notification>Low Battery. You may adjust the settings as you see fit.

Yes, you can. In photo gallery, select the photos you want to share,tap “…” icon, select “Share Photo”. You have the choice to share the photos to either Facebook or Twitter.

The alert list can store up to 100 records. Once the maximum allowed recording is met, new records will override the oldest savings.

The captured photos are linked to your account and saved temporarily on your app, not on your iOS photo stream. Logging out of your account without saving will result to the loss of all your captured photos. By default your account will remain logged on. The app will remind you to save your photos upon logging out.

Yes. You can set up multiple monitors within your home. Tap the “list” iconon the top left corner of your home screen and select “Add Camera”.

No. A compatible iOS device and the iBaby View app are required.


Set-up-and-Installation-M2

1. Make sure that your Apple iOS device is connected to your home Wi-Fi network.
2. From the App Store, download “iBaby View” app on to your iOS device.
3. Plug the power adapter into the camera.
4. Press the on/off button for 1-2 seconds to turn on the camera. The LED light will come on to indicate that the camera is turned on.
5. The camera will take a minute to start. Please wait for a double beeping tone or flashing LED light before proceeding.
6. Launch the “iBaby View” app on your iOS device.
7. Follow the simple onscreen instructions to complete the setup.

In order to successfully set up your Wi-Fi connection, the USB cable is required to connect your iBaby monitor with your iOS device during the camera installation process.

The iBaby Monitor M2 takes about 3 hours to be fully charged.

To ensure a strong Wi-Fi signal and reliable Internet connection, we recommend the users to place the iBaby monitor within 75 feet of a wireless router.

The signal bars on the video screen represent the Wi-Fi strength between the camera and the wireless router: one bar means that the signal strength is poor and the monitor may not function properly. Two bars mean that the strength is average. However there might still be some signal instability. Three bars mean that the signal strength is optimal and the device will function normally.

The recommended viewing distance is approximately 5 feet.

To setup the iBaby monitor in a new Wi-Fi location, please follow the steps below.

1. Make sure that your Apple iOS device is connected to the desired Wi-Fi network.

2. Plug the power adapter into the camera

3. Press the on/off button for 1-2 seconds to turn on the camera. The LED light will come on to indicate that the camera is turned on.

4. The camera will take a minute to start up. Please wait for a double beeping tone or flashing LED light before proceeding.

5. Launch the “iBaby View” app on your iOS device.

6. Choose the “Add camera” function under the “List” icon .

7. Follow the simple onscreen instructions to complete the setup.

On the Login screen, tap “Forgot Your Password?”. The app will prompt you to enter your email address you used to sign up and the password will be send to you shortly.

To add a new iBaby Monitor M2 to your home network, launch the “iBaby View app” and click on the list icon at the top left of your home screen. Select “Add Camera” from the list of functions. Proceed to follow the installation instructions on the app.

Set-up-and-Installation-M3

1. Ensure your Apple iOS device is connected to your home or office Wi-Fi network.
2. Remove the red cap on the back of the camera and screw the antenna in, facing up.
3. Plug the power adapter into electrical outlet and opposite end into the monitor.
4. Use the Ethernet cable to connect the monitor to the LAN (not WAN) port on your wireless modem/router.
5. Install and launch the iBaby Monitor App on your Apple iOS device using keyword search: “iBaby Monitor BM”. When the message “New iBaby Monitor. Please set up your camera first” appears, click “OK.”
6. The message “Searching for Wi-Fi” appears until your network is found. When found, go to the “Set Up” page, select your network, enter your password and click “Done.”
7. When the message “iBaby Monitor restarting. Remove cable from iBaby Monitor. Do not turn off camera” appears disconnect Ethernet cable from both the monitor and the modem/router.
8. Wait for the monitor to connect (about 30 seconds).
9. When the message “You are using the default camera” appears, select “Later.” Set up is complete.

If you forget it, you can simply reset your monitor by plugging it in and holding down the reset button on the back of the monitor for about 20 seconds. The reset should restore to the default username and password for the monitor. The default username is admin, and the default password is 123456.

Go to "set up" and then select "Alarm Level". Tab setting and options will be displayed.

When you touch the video area of the screen, a control panel will appear that will allow you to alter the settings for the brightness, contrast and resolution.

It appears that picture flip might have been turned on. This feature flips the picture of the video. To turn this feature off, open the iBaby app on your iOS device. Tap on the contrast icon to the lower left of the screen and turn off picture flip.

If the monitor is already setup to one iPhone, to add the camera to another device please follow the steps below.

1. Download the iBaby app
2. Open the app when the iPhone is connected to the same Wi-Fi as the camera
3. You may receive a message similar to "iBaby cannot be connected, search again"
4. Select Cancel
5. Select Setup
6. Select the tab "Add Camera"
7. Enter the camera's DDNS, Username and Password

You must connect speakers to the audio output socket on the back of the monitor, which will enable a two-way intercom function.

First, make sure that you check the volume levels on your devices and make sure that the volume level is set at 5 or above. The sound may also be too far from the camera and not loud enough for the camera to capture it. If your network speed is slow, this too can affect the sound level as well.

Make sure that your iOS device or external speakers aren’t placed too close to the monitor or it may cause noise or feedback.

Yes. You can select the motion alert level to the level of your choice through the alert icon in your app. If there is any motion, the camera will detect it and trigger the alert to ring.

Yes. You may activate the Sound Alert by selecting the “Alert” tab in the app. For the sound detection setting, the higher the setting, the more sensitive the alarm is to sound. These settings are located under Set Up>Alert Level.

There is unlimited range as long as WiFi is available.

Yes. Simply select Alert in your app and set the motion or the sound alert level to 0.

With the use of external speakers, you can speak to your baby by pressing the audio button in your iBaby App. The audio button needs to be held down for two seconds to activate the two-way intercom function.

Yes! You can take pictures by using the snapshot feature on the app. The pictures will automatically be saved to your device’s photo gallery. You can email, send as a message and upload pictures to a desired site to share with others.

The camera itself does not physically zoom; however, from your app you can double click on the video portion of the app to zoom in.

Yes. You can set up multiple monitors within your home and access them through your free app with an easy two-finger swipe to switch through the different screens.

Absolutely! As long as you have access to Wi-Fi, you can see and hear your baby anytime, anywhere.

Yes! You have to follow the same process when you first set up your iBaby monitor in your new location by resetting the monitor.

Yes you can! You may view the video over the web by inserting the camera's IP address and port number into the web browser as example: http://192.168.1.2:14972. The camera’s IP address and Port number are listed on the iBaby monitor app of the iOS device under Setup>Camera Information. You will then be asked to enter the camera’s username and password. Download the player first then select the mode to view the video. If you would like to view the video over the web remotely, use the monitors “Public IP Address”. To obtain this IP Address, Launch the iBaby App while connected to 3G or a Wi-Fi other than the LAN. The IP Address changes from Private (When connected to the same Wi-Fi as the monitor) to Public (When connected to a different Wi-Fi network). The 5 digit Port number will always remain the same. *Note* When using Internet Explorer you will have all features available such as viewing camera, audio, recording, two-way intercom and taking pictures. Using Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox will only allow viewing the camera.

Network-and-Connectivity-M3

Yes it does! We recommend that when using the monitor on 3G/4G that you are mindful of your data plan. 1 megabyte per minute is used while using the monitor. 

Yes, however certain public Wi-Fi networks have account requirements or instructions that need to be followed before the connection is enabled.
I set up Wi-Fi, but cannot see the video.
The monitor cannot connect to Wi-Fi due to incorrect settings. Please revise the following:
 
1. Check that the Wi-Fi password is correctly set. 
2. When you launch the App, you should be able to find the router’s Wi-Fi signal. 
3. Make sure the monitor is connected to the same Wi-Fi as your iOS device. 
4. The router may be set to Disable Wireless Isolation. If this is checked, the wireless client under this SSID can only access the internet and cannot access other wireless clients even under the same SSID, Ethernet clients or this device. Other clients will not be able to access the wireless client, either.
5. The monitor may be too far from the router. Keep the distance between 65 feet (20 meters). 
6. Check to see that the camera’s antenna is well positioned and facing up.
I cannot find the device after searching for it.
The monitor needs about 30 seconds to complete initialization. Please try again after 30 seconds. Check to see if the light on the back of camera is flashing. 
If the camera is connected to Wi-Fi, please check the Wi-Fi setting. The camera may need more time to connect to Wi-Fi when the network is not strong. Please wait for few minutes and try again.

1. Verify that the AC Adapter LED light is a steady red
2. If light is off when Adapter is plugged in without monitor, exchange AC Adapter. Contact customer service at support@ibabylabs.com
3. If light is on when Adapter is plugged in without monitor, but off when plugged into the monitor, contact customer service at support@ibabylabs.com
4. If light is blinking when the Adapter is plugged into the monitor, customer service at support@ibabylabs.com

DDNS stands for Dynamic Domain Name Service and it is a way you can view your monitor over the web. The DDNS is free and there are no time limits associated with it.
